FAQ

What are “Payment Card Processing Fees”?
This fee is the fee charged by your payment card company to process your transaction.  Webtokens is a no fee transaction platform meaning that there are no fees to exchange webtokens on the web.   When you give 1 webtoken to someone they receive 1 webtoken at full value with NO fees and no restrictions.
Credit card companies do not like  “OnLine” or “Adult” or “Currency Exchange” businesses like Webtokens, as such they charge super high  fees associated with these transactions.  The fees include; per transaction fees,  monthly account fees, annual “high risk – aka Adult entertainment” fees,  gateway and payment fees etc.  If you use a cash back payment card, that cash back amount is paid by us the merchant.

Why are transactions not immediate?
BuyWebtokens.com transactions are currency transactions and as such require an extra layer of transaction verification/validation.   This verification/validation process is not immediate even in this day of high technology. Blame the payment process companies as they require this verification/validation process because the transaction take place online and are not reversible.

What are the benefits of using WebTokens?
  • Your transactions are 100% private and untraceable! (ref our Privacy Policy)
  • Those that you pay, tip, tribute, donate using webtokens get 100% of the value of the webtokens (no fees) and can operate free of the shackles of the credit card companies censorship and those other organizations like  National Center on Sexual Exploitation (formerly Morality In Media)

What are webtokens?
Webtokens is a virtual currency that can be used on the web to purchase, tip, tribute, and donate.
Think of webtokens as internet/web cash – It is untraceable, anonymous, non-replaceable.
You exchange your physical currency such as USA dollars for webtokens. These Webtokens are placed in your webtokens wallet.  From your wallet you can make purchases, tip, tribute, and donate to anyone (person or business) on the web that accepts webtokens.   Like cash when you make purchases, tip, tribute or donate your webtokens are passed from your wallet to the recipient’s wallet.
Like cash, your transaction is anonymous and untraceable and cannot be reversed.

Webtokens are not a cryptocurrency!
Cryptocurrency transactions are maintained in a public ledger in crypto wallets. Think of crypto wallets as being like a Swiss Bank account.  Accounts have numbers and passwords but are not associated with real names of people or companies. Anyone having the account number and passcodes can access the account and withdraw the funds.
Crypto currencies are not as private and anonymous as we are led to believe.  It is true that when you make a transaction using crypto currency the ledger only logs in the two wallet account numbers and the date and time of the transactions.  In theory only you and the party of the receiving crypto wallet know who is sending and receiving the crypto currency.   In theory as long as you just deal in crypto transactions then your identity is never known. However, if you use an exchange to facilitate the transaction, they are required to know who you are and verify who you are. This is part of the USA anti-terrorism and money laundry laws.   At anytime the USA federal government can subpoena the details of the transactions and obtain the identity of both parties.  The only thing that remains anonymous and between both parties is what the transaction was for.

Why are webtokens different?
When you acquire webtokens you do so through our webtokens currency exchange.  This is no different than you going to a currency exchange place (such as a bank) to exchange your physical money such as USA Dollars into say the European Euro or any other physical currency.  There is usually an exchange rate and transaction cost for the conversion.
Same with webtokens – you visit our webtokens currency exchange and make the transaction. Your physical currency is then converted to webtokens that are then placed in your webtokens wallet for you to use.    The value of webtoken are currently tied to the USA dollar – 1 webtoken is valued the same a  $1 (one USA Dollar)  Like any currency exchange there is a transaction fee.  This fee is typically 10% but can vary depending on the means you are using to pay for the webtokens.
If you accept webtokens for payment for products or services, tips, tribute, donations then you can exchange your webtokens using the webtokens currency exchange.  Because the webtokens currency exchange is a currency exchange there is no tax reporting for exchange amounts under $2000.

Why webtokens?
Webtokens was created to provide a micro payment system for use on the web free of transaction fees and rules and regulations of the current means of online payment aka Credit cards.
If you were not aware, the credit card companies charge big fees for accepting payments online and restrict what you can spend your hard-earned money on.  You like adult entertainment? The big credit card companies put rules and restrictions in place stifling the freedom and creativity of adult entertainers and social media personalities.  In addition, the credit card companies know exactly what you purchased using that credit/payment card. When you use your credit card to may a purchase the detail of the purchase is recorded by the credit card companies.   They know if you purchased a live stream or pictures, or phonesex or CBD products, cigarettes, alcohol, condoms, junk food, adult video games, combat video games. They know if you frequent Gay / Lesbian establishments, engage in risky behavior. They know what medications you are taking. If you have purchased pregnant test or plan B. They have access to all this data and are using it to force their moral agenda on you.

Why accept webtokens as payment?
By accepting webtokens for payment for products or services, tips, tribute, and donations, unshackles your creativity. Your website is no longer under the censorship and restrictions of the credit card companies.

Anonymous to the max!
Once a webtokens transaction is completed, meaning that the sender’s wallet has been debited and the receiver’s wallet has been credited then the details of the transaction are erased.  Just as with a cash transaction when the cash between to parties has been transpired the transaction is completed and all history of the transaction is in the memories of the two parties.
